Junior to Mid-Level Backend Developer (Python/ML)

We are kicking off a few new projects and are looking for a Junior to Mid-Level Backend Developer with a solid foundation in Python and some experience in Machine Learning to join our team. In this role, you will work on setting up training experimentation and measurement, as well as integrating APIs with internal AI tools we have built.

Our current setup includes a Python tool running on AWS for data preparation, and we aim to optimize our flux fine-tuning while integrating computer vision models to evaluate our training processes. The stack combines comfyUI deployed on modal.com (Python) and data preparation running on AWS (also Python).

While specific experience with flux or AI image generation/training is not required, we value strong programming fundamentals, a good understanding of data and measurement, and a willingness to learn on the go.

Responsibilities:

• Set up training experiments and measurement pipelines for AI models
• Optimize flux fine-tuning processes and integrate computer vision models
• Develop and maintain backend services in Python, ensuring smooth data preparation and model evaluation
• Integrate APIs with internal AI tools and external services
• Collaborate with the team to design and deploy AI-driven features
• Monitor model performance and experiment results, iterating based on data insights
• Ensure clean, maintainable, and scalable code

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with comfyUI and deployment on modal.com
• Knowledge of flux fine-tuning or related optimization techniques
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and containerization tools like Docker
• Understanding of cloud-based AI infrastructure
• Strong problem-solving skills and data-driven thinking
